The Downstairs Steakhouse offers its own menu of casual, fine dining dinner options. Start out with an appetizer like the hand-dipped Battered Cauliflower or the Fire Seasoned Flaming Shrimp served tableside in a cast iron skillet which is flamed with tequila.
Freshly baked bread with strawberry butter is served with your choice of a crisp Caesar, Spinach or Tossed salad; French Onion or Sherried Mushroom Soup.
All of the steaks are aged USDA choice cuts, served charbroiled to your liking. For the basic steak lover, we offer the Charbroiled Ribeye, thick, hand-cut Filet Mignon, or Top Sirloin, top your steak with sauteed fresh mushrooms if you wish. Experience some added flavor with our hand-cut steaks by choosing the Sizzling Steak Gorgonzola topped with peppers, onions and gorgonzola cheese, or the Whiskey Cola BBQ Ribeye, which is marinated in a whiskey-cola mixture which is topped with a BBQ glaze.
Dinner isn’t limited to steaks. Choose from Hickory Plank Roast Salmon, Fresh Canadian Walleye, Maple Bacon Jumbo Shrimp, Twin Tail Cold Water Lobster or the ultimate seafood platter, Seafood Cioppino, a San Francisco favorite of haddock, shrimp, mussels, and scallops steamed in a zesty garlic and tomato broth. Traditional favorites include BBQ Ribs slow roasted in our own BBQ sauce, a house specialty served nightly, and Roasted Prime Rib Au Jus available on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Downstairs Steakhouse is easily accessible down the stairs through the lounge, or from its own street-level entrance on the east side of the building.
